When it comes to teaching the importance of oral health, there’s no such thing as starting too soon. That’s why Thirty Two & You has partnered with the I-Smile Dental Health Initiative to make sure children receive the routine preventative dental care they need.
Since the program began in 2005, I-Smile has been working with providers to make sure that at-risk children across Iowa have access to quality dental care. “The assistance this program provides has been a huge benefit to our community,” said Dr. Bygness. “There are a number of serious dental issues that can be avoided, simply by receiving routine care. The education and training I-Smile offers providers is indispensable.”
I-Smile is managed by the Iowa Department of Public Health through contracts with public and private non-profit organizations as part of the state’s Title V maternal and child health program. More information about the I-Smile Dental Health Initiative can be found at ismile.idph.iowa.gov.
